When you know what you are experiencing but cannot quite explain it

You may already know that certain tasks, environments or times of day take more out of you. The difficult part is often explaining why—and describing what would genuinely help.

Your ZONE Profile puts clear, personal language around those patterns.

Understand it for yourself

See how factors such as sensory load, cognitive demands, transitions, communication and time of day can combine to affect your available capacity.

Help the people close to you understand

Use or share the language in your Profile to help a partner, family member or someone you trust understand what you experience and what helps you function at your best.

Explain what you need at work

Receive practical wording for conversations with managers and colleagues—including ways to discuss how you work best or request changes without having to disclose a diagnosis.

Your Profile belongs to you. You decide what, if anything, you want to share.

  • Identify the conditions that help you do your best work
  • Find clear language for experiences that have been difficult to explain

How every report is reviewed

AI helps organise a structured draft and checks it for consistency. A trained member of the NeuroAdapt team then personally reads, edits and approves the final report for accuracy, nuance, responsible language and practical relevance. AI does not make the final judgement, and responses are never used to train AI models.

What a ZONE Profile reads like

Your report is a written document: structured, specific, and written in plain language. Below is a short illustrative sample.

Privacy statement: All examples below were newly written to illustrate the kind of insight a ZONE Profile can provide. They do not reflect the content, language, responses, or circumstances of any real client. Real client reports remain confidential.

Sample Profile (Illustrative excerpt only)

What your profile suggests

Your responses suggest a working pattern characterised by strong, focused concentration when conditions are predictable and quiet, combined with a heightened sensitivity to environmental stimulation that affects your available capacity more than you may have previously recognised. You are likely to perform at your best when demands arrive one at a time, transitions between types of work are gradual, and you have some advance notice of what a day or meeting will involve.

Your best-work conditions

  • Working in the first half of the day, before cognitive load accumulates
  • A quieter environment, or access to noise-attenuation tools when that is not possible
  • Completing focused written work before moving into meetings, not after
  • Receiving agendas and discussion topics in advance of any multi-item meeting

What to tell people you work with

When advocating for yourself at work, a framing like the following may be useful:

"I work best when I have time to process information before responding, particularly in meetings with several agenda items. Receiving an agenda or discussion points in advance makes a genuine difference to my ability to contribute well."

Practical first steps: step one

Before your next working week, review your calendar and identify the two or three obligations that consistently leave you most depleted. Where you have flexibility, position high-demand activities during the hours your responses suggest you have more reserve capacity, and protect your natural focus window for deeper work.

A glimpse inside

See the kind of insight your Profile can give you

These short excerpts show the practical shape of the finished report: specific language about your patterns, the conditions that help, and what you can try next.

Your Energy Cost Map

Your pattern suggests that the length of the working day is not the only source of cost. Sustained concentration, frequent switching, background noise, and the effort of remaining socially available may each appear manageable alone. Together, they can leave very little capacity after work.

A clear interpretation of your working pattern, grounded in your own responses.

Your best-work conditions

You are likely to produce your strongest work when priorities are explicit, focused work is protected from unnecessary interruption, and demanding meetings are followed by a short transition period.

Specific conditions you can recognise, protect, and discuss with the people you work with.

What to tell people you work with

I produce more accurate work when I receive the purpose and expected output in writing. After high-demand meetings, a short buffer allows me to complete stronger follow-up.

Ready-to-use language for self-advocacy conversations with managers or colleagues.

The ZONE Profile is a coaching and self-reflection tool. It is not medical or clinical advice, a diagnosis, or legal advice, and it cannot promise that an employer will agree to any particular adjustment or request. Your employer is never notified or involved; you choose what, if anything, to share.

Who this is for

The ZONE Profile is designed for late-diagnosed neurodivergent professionals—and people who suspect they may be neurodivergent—who want to understand why work can cost them so much, identify the conditions in which they function best, and find clearer words for what they need.
