Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 22 September 2026

This policy outlines how your data is handled at NeuroAdapt. This document represents transparency about our data practices, not a legal certification.

Identity and contact

NeuroAdapt is operated by David O'Byrne, based in Ireland. For privacy requests or data inquiries, email contact@neuroadapt.ai.

Website and analytics

When you use the website, we may process information needed to provide the page or service you request. Current processors include:

  • Replit: Hosts the website and supporting services.
  • Google Analytics: Used only if you allow analytics tracking.
  • Meta Pixel: Used only if you allow advertising tracking.
  • Enquiries: If you use our contact form, your name, email address, enquiry category and message are sent through Resend to our support inbox so David can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list or send an automatic acknowledgement. Enquiry content is not stored in the website database. Short-lived hashed delivery and abuse-prevention records help prevent duplicate messages and misuse. Email enquiries are handled through our email provider. Please avoid including sensitive personal or health information.
  • MailerLite: Processes email signups and marketing subscriptions only through a relevant signup or consent flow. If you choose Work Cost Map emails, you receive a short series of emails to help you use the worksheet and my regular newsletter, with occasional news about the Profile and coaching. You can unsubscribe at any time. Choosing just the worksheet does not add you to MailerLite.
  • Stripe: Processes Profile checkout and payment transactions. NeuroAdapt receives payment status and purchase details, but not your full card number.

Local-first mobile app

The mobile app has no NeuroAdapt account and no app-managed cloud storage. Information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it. Device backups, operating-system services and any destination you choose to share with are outside NeuroAdapt's control.

Profile information

For a Profile, we may process purchase and status records, consent records, your name and email address, the private assessment link, 60 structured answers, eight open reflections, optional reflections about resources, your support region, patterns derived from those responses, report drafts, AI and human review outputs, final report content, practitioner notes, and operational or audit records needed to run and support the service.

AI processing and human review

Only with your permission, relevant assessment-derived material is sent through Replit's managed AI integration to Anthropic for an initial draft and a separate quality and safety review. See the Replit Privacy Policy and Anthropic Privacy Policy.

NeuroAdapt does not build or train its own model with responses and does not intentionally submit responses as provider feedback.

Human review and delivery

David personally reads, edits and approves every Profile currently delivered by NeuroAdapt. AI cannot approve a report or send it to a customer. David manually emails the final PDF within three working days of a completed submission.

Retention

Data is retained while needed to deliver and support the service and to meet legitimate business or legal needs. Formal retention periods are currently being established, so there is not one universal retention period for every category.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal or deletion by emailing contact@neuroadapt.ai. Requests are handled manually and we may need to verify your identity. Rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Provider backups or security logs may need temporary retention for recovery, integrity, fraud prevention or legal reasons.

Security and international processing

NeuroAdapt limits administrative access, uses private assessment links, and uses access controls and security features provided by its service providers. No online service can promise absolute security. Processors may store or process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area, including in the United States; their privacy information explains their safeguards.

Adults, cookies and marketing

  • Adults only: Services are intended strictly for adults aged 18 and older.
  • Cookie consent: Optional Google Analytics and Meta tracking are disabled unless you make the relevant consent choice.
  • Marketing: Unsubscribe through the link in the email. Service messages are separate from marketing.

Complaints

You have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) at www.dataprotection.ie, or your local data protection authority.
